This was my first painting assignment in Painting I under my favorite teacher, Rex Deloney. At the time, I had not yet learned advanced painting techniques, as this was an early piece in the course. Despite that, I remember feeling proud when I completed it—eager and excited to continue learning from him.

Looking back, this painting marks the beginning of a transformative three-year journey. It was through these years that I deepened my ability to visualize and tell stories from my own perspective, while continuously refining my technical skills.
